She kept coming for inspiration. People started lining up to see her drunken comedy sets. Nothing funnier than an alcoholic cracking jokes about sobriety. Except one that falls off stage in a drunken stupor. Last night, this garnered Jill her first standing ovation.
Jill slumps into a chair. Tonight, she’ll admit she has a problem. She no longer wants to be a punchline.
