Flash Fiction #267 – The One

Sofia loved nothing more than pretty boys, except perhaps their motorcycles.

Most held their lovers close. Not Sofia.

With thighs firmly in place, her arms waved like a bird in flight,

every turn,

every swerve.

They said Sofia couldn’t settle on a boy, but the truth was she couldn’t settle on a bike!

So many to explore!

Then one day she met the one: the Triumph Bonneville.

When the relationship didn’t work out with Tate, she bought the bike.

And at 83 years old, they’re still together, soaring canyon corners.
