“So three wishes?” asked Gray.

The genie nodded.

Being the richest man alive backfired; everyone hobnobbed with ulterior motives.

Wishing to be sincerely loved lead to countries threatening nuclear war to claim him.

His third wish of “world peace” led to a compromise. Gray was to be split into over 200 pieces so they’d all have him.

Back and happy in his old life, Gray turned to the genie. “Why don’t genies tell humans they get four wishes upfront?”


The genie smiled. “Humans would squander it like the other three.”
