Brother and Sister trudged the great road to success with the thousands of other hopefuls.
Sister proposed they take a hidden path.
“Use your brain, it’s the wrong direction,” said Brother.
“The heart always knows the way. You’ll see.”
Years later, starving and miserable, Brother reached the gate.
With clenched noses, the gatekeepers examined his art: uninspired paintings of the boring road—like all the others.
They turned him away… just as a helicopter landed on the other side.
Out stepped his sister in a sequined gown.
